Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC)

The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, or PEFC, is an international, non-profit and non-governmental organisation that provides independent third-party certification to ensure sustainable use of forest resources through:

Sustainable Forest Management certification (SFM)
This recognises operations that maintain a forest’s ecological, social and economic values.

• Chain of Custody certification (CoC)
This refers to close monitoring of each step of the supply chain from forest to customer.

PaperOne™ has achieved both the SFM and CoC certifications. Meaning that as a consumer of our products, you can be assured that our paper comes from legal, traceable and environmentally sustainable sources

Stakeholders, from all parts of society, including forest owners, NGOs, businesses and governments, are also involved in developing PEFC standards.
